Oga

Oga is a fast-paced Igbo hand-clapping game played by 2 or more players. The players face each other and clap each other’s palms in a specific rhythmic pattern. As the game progresses, the speed of the claps increases, making it more challenging to keep up.

The goal is to maintain the pattern without making a mistake. If a player misses a clap, hesitates, or breaks the sequence, they are eliminated. The game continues until only one player remains—the winner

Spectators often watch, cheer, and even chant to add to the excitement, making Oga not just a test of coordination and rhythm but also a lively and entertaining group activity.
